Day 1: Friday, April 27th JOHANNESBURG – CAIRO
Meet the Stargate representative at 18:00 at the Egyptair check-in counter. Check-in on flight MS840 departing at 21:45. Dinner and overnight on BOARD (D*)
Day 2: Saturday, April 28th CAIRO
Early morning check into the Sheraton hotel for breakfast and to freshen up. Our sightseeing tour includes the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Visit the Perfume and Papyrus Institute. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Return to our hotel. Dinner and overnight in CAIRO (B*)(L)(D)
Day 3: Sunday, April 29th CAIRO – LUXOR
Early morning transfer to the airport for the flight at 07:45 for Luxor. Touch-down in Luxor is at 08:55.Transfer to the pier for check-in on the cruise ship. Lunch will be served on board. Meet your guide in the ship lobby after lunch. Tour of the temple of Luxor and temple of Karnak. Dinner and overnight on CRUISE (B)(L)(D)
Day 4: Monday, April 30th LUXOR – EDFU
Meet your guide in the ship lobby at 08:00. Tour of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. Lunchtime departure for Edfu. Dinner and overnight CRUISE (B)(L)(D)
Day 5: Tuesday, May 01st EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN
On arrival in Edfu, meet your guide. Horse drawn cart will take you to the Edfu temple of Horus. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit to the Kom Ombo temple. Return to the ship and cruise towards Aswan. Dinner and overnight CRUISE (B)(L)(D)
Day 6: Wednesday, May 02nd ASWAN
Meet your guide in the lobby at 08:00. A motor boat takes us to the temple on Philae island. Visit the Unfinished Obelisk. Sail by Felukka around Kitchener’s Island. Visit the Nubian Village by motorboat. Dinner and overnight on the CRUISE (B)(L)(D)
Day 7: Thursday, May 03rd ASWAN – CAIRO
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cairo. We’ll be met on arrival by our tour guide for a visit to the Carpet factory and the famous Egyptian Museum. Optional entrance to the room of the mummies. Evening Nile dinner and dance cruise. Overnight CAIRO (B)(D)
Day 8: Friday, May 04th CAIRO
Morning visit to Memphis and Sakkara. Spend some time at the popular Khan El-khalili bazaar for those important souvenirs. Return to our hotel for dinner. Our hotel rooms are available until departure for the airport. Connect to the flight departing at 23:30 for Johannesburg. Overnight on BOARD (B)(D)
Day 9: Saturday, May 05th JOHANNESBURG
Arrive Johannesburg at 07:35 (B*)Cruise schedule may vary due to lock times on the date of sailng on the Nile. You will be informed in case of any changes to theschedule by the Stargate representatives and tour guides.
